LEADERSHIP

Zachariah Pittman is an active-duty Air Force rescue pilot currently stationed at the Pentagon. He is married to Rachel, and together they have six children: Elliott, Philippa (Pippa), Wilder, Marielle (Marey), Louie, and Juliette. Three of their children were born overseas in Okinawa, Japan, where the Pittmans were formerly stationed, and Zachariah served as an elder at Pillar Okinawa. 

Zachariah and Rachel are dedicated to serving the military and their families wherever God sends them. Zack is pursuing a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a passion for coffee, enjoys running, is an avid reader, and is a student of the Bible.

George currently serves in Northern Virginia as an active-duty military member with a heart for ministering to service members and their families. George and his family were previously stationed in Okinawa, where they partnered with Pillar Okinawa. It was there that he began to serve in a pastoral role, which he continues at Pillar Woodlawn.

George is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. By God’s grace, and through his studies he seeks to grow in ministering to individuals with Gospel-centered care, aiming to point individuals to the goodness and faithfulness of God through Christ. His ministry emphasizes providing biblical insight and compassionate counsel to address the spiritual and emotional needs of those the Lord would bring into his life.

George’s ministry is enriched by his family life. In the Lord’s kindness, he is married to Erika, and together they are raising three children: Bria, Judah, and Leena. They enjoy spending time together and building community through intentional fellowship with their local church body. Their shared love for Christ fuels their commitment to serving others with hospitality and grace, for His glory and the good of others.

Cody and his wife, Lydia have been married since January 2020, and are the proud parents of their daughter, Cove. Cody leads our teaching ministries, as well as providing vision for the direction of the church. Cody graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from the College at Southeastern in December of 2019. From there, he served as a Church Planting Resident at Pillar Church of Dumfries, located outside of Marine Corps Base Quantico. He began pastoring at Pillar Church of Woodlawn in June of 2023. In his free time, Cody can be found listening to music, enjoying sports, or hanging with his friends.
